An Inside Look on Langley High School's
Production of Evita
Witness the journey of Eva Peron as she triumphantly turns her life from impoverished to indestructible through saxon stage lights. After her father dies, she goes to Buenos Aires and finds huge fame through making strong connections with the powerful men in Argentina. Ultimately she makes her way to the top by seducing the soon to be president, Juan Peron and uses her power as first lady to become the hero of the poor and the working class. Although Mrs. Peron is hated by the wealthy, she is heavily loved by all of Argentina.
EVITA PERON
Evita Peron is played by Jessica Peros, a senior at Langley High School. Jessica has been singing all her life and has been in two previous Saxon Stage productions.
CAST AND CREW
In the cast and crew of Evita there are over fifty students participating on the show, including some from middle and elementary schools in the area. Our dedicated crew has put in countless hours of time in effort into producing Evita by working on: sound, lighting, set, run crew, hair and makeup, as well with publicity. In our cast the actors have been rehearsing endlessly and could not be more excited to put on the show.
